I began my career nearly 20 years ago working on the redevelopment of social housing, which quickly opened my eyes to the scale and vulnerability of the communities within this sector. After gaining experience in the private sector across several consultancies, I returned to social housing around 10 years ago, supporting small to medium accommodation providers in developing properties to house those in need.

During this time, I had the privilege of working with Paula White shortly after she founded Ready 4 Home. We stayed in contact over the years, and I’ve watched the organisation grow significantly under her leadership. I am now fortunate to be part of that journey.

Working in social housing has exposed me to aspects of society and levels of hardship that many people never see. It has also helped me realise my own purpose: to support people who are often misunderstood or unfairly judged. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a safe and dignified place to call home.
